FAQs

Q: DO YOU DELIVER EVERY PICTURE YOU TAKE?

A: No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions, and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because we shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. With our expertise in processing millions of images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

A: Rosehill Portraits is acclaimed for developing a unique style of wedding photography that is deeply rooted in capturing BRAG WORTHY pictures. I've said it like a million times but it’s simple. Natural and modern photography.

Q: DO YOU TOUCH UP ALL MY IMAGES?

A: Yes we do. Every image we deliver is post-produced with our unique signature style of post-production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections.

Q: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY “TOUCHING UP” PHOTOS?

A: Advanced post-production includes touch-ups such as removal of blemishes, removal of bags under eyes, removal of fly-away hairs, etc. On the other hand, custom post-production is anything that requires extensive, custom work in Photoshop such as removing entire objects from the scene, changing the size and shape of body parts or other objects in the scene, adding objects to a scene, and other custom work. That is extra, not included with general touch up.

Q: WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE TO DIGITAL PRINTS?

A: You have the right to reprint images whenever you want.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY SHOOT?

A: Regardless of the type of session this is for, I always recommend staying away from crazy prints, neon colors or anything too busy. We don't want your eye to immediately go to your clothing. I also recommend not wearing anything with large logos or anything else that could be distracting. Something I will suggest to bring is fun accessories like hats, scarves cute umbrellas, blankets or just about anything that you think would be fun. It's always nice to have those things to get some variety in the session.

Q: I AM NOT PHOTOGENIC, WHAT DO I DO?

A: Have no fear, I am here! But seriously, I am here for you. We're going to have fun and we're going to capture that. The beginning is always harder, but we'll work on loosening up and relaxing. Your job is just to be open, and have fun and my job is to help create that environment for you. That's also a huge reason we have a consult before so that I can get to know you and we can put together a session you're going to love.

Q: WHAT PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT AND HOW CAN I PAY?

A: I accept cash and payments online using a debit or credit card. I can accept checks as well or can take a credit card payments. I try to be as flexible as possible.
